Hello, all education lovers! Starting with a prayer song to Saraswati the goddess of knowledge, I am going to write an article on my 42-year teaching journey

Knowledge humbles a person, humility meets the abode of truth, the abode of truth provides wealth and divinity, so we can find peace happiness and salvation.
I have dedicated my life to teaching and social service. I have already written my autobiography in a previous article. Now I would like to present the story of my 4 decades of service as a teacher. In this context, I am writing about my activities from the time I entered the teaching profession as a primary school teacher to the time I retired.

Entry into Teaching Service
On 5th April 1977, I was appointed as a teacher at Bharatpuri Primary School, near my home, where I had studied earlier. This was a very big and fortunate opportunity for me. Because it was my first duty in life to take care of and serve my old and disabled parents. Therefore, I started my work of taking care of my parents and teaching in the school with great joy and enthusiasm.
After some time I got the responsibility of the headmaster of the school. After that, we forward the proposals of upgrading the school. How did we succeed in singing the progress of the school? In the context of that, I would like to present the entire expansion of the history of the school here.
Our school’s history in brief
Our school was established on 8th February 1954. Bhadra Bahadur Ghale was the founder of this school. At that time, it was very difficult to establish a school because the community was very poor and lack of awareness . On the other hand, the 104-year-long Rana rule did not give people the opportunity to get educated. There was only one high school in Nepal called Durbar High School which was named only for the Rana family and relatives. People did not have the opportunity to get educated.

On 7th Falgun 2007 (18th February 1951), Nepal became free from the brutal rule of Ranas. At that time, Nepal had just moved to establish a school. Mr. Bhadra Bahadur Ghale was a philanthropist and education-loving person. He was an employee in the Indian army. When Nepal became free from the brutal rule of Ranas, he thought of establishing a school in his own area and wanted to become a social worker. And he left his army service. He bought some books of primary level and returned home carried by 3 porters. He was more educated and visionary than his military service colleagues.
He gathered people and persuaded the community and suggested about establishing a school. He formed a school planning and management committee under his leadership. He gathered people and started teaching after worshipping Goddess Saraswati with the first Guru (teacher) Padmalal Poudel. Other members were Praja Bahadur Khatri, Prithvi Bahadur Gurung, Narishwor Sapkota, Shaligram Sapkota, Bal Bahadur Pun, Balbir Pandey. The members of the advisory committee were Man Bahadur Gurung, Kamdev Sapkota, Ran Bahadur Ghale, Kabirajchhantyal, and Hanbir pun.
Approved by government

The school was functioning for 20 years under community resources.
On 4 Magh 203,0 (25 February 1974), the school received government approval as a primary school. People were very happy with the progress of the school. After I became the headmaster, we requested the Ministry of Education for government approval along with a proposal.

The school received government approval in 2035 ( 1978)as a lower secondary school and in 2056(1999 ) as a secondary school. Since 2057(2000), the school has been participating in the SLC( SEE) examination, our school results have been good every year.In the year2010, the pass percentage in the SLC examination was 87% with supplementary. We hope to achieve 100% results in the future and our master plan is to operate 10+2 from the coming year.
We were excited to manage the school properly according to the new era. But an unknown group set fire to the two-story buildings containing the office, science laboratory, library, computer room and teacher’s room. On 23 December 2011 and all the documents.
School destroyed by fire
Teachers and students, books, science equipment, computers and many more were changed into ashes. We were disappointed and saddened by the terrible accident. This was not only a physical and financial loss for us, but also a mental one. However, we persevered and moved forward with the determination to rebuild.

We requested all the rescue organizations and people for reconstruction.
Although it was very difficult to compensate for the damage, we continued on the path of development of our school. We also requested organizations and people who wanted to help us reconstruct the building and manage the books, science equipment, computers and more. We finally reached the point of success. As education was modernizing, we also started to organize smart boards and computers and teach in a modern way. We have declared the school as a child-friendly school in coordination with the government and the education-loving organization.
Golden jubilee celebrations
In 2060 BS (2004), the school completed 50 years of its establishment and we were preparing to celebrate its golden jubilee, but it was postponed. The main reason for the postponement was that Maoist terror was raging all over the country. And we celebrated the postponed golden jubilee program in 2067 (2011).

My retirement and farewell
In the last phase of my educational service, the globalization of the education sector had begun. I moved forward with the idea that we should also participate in this and use information technology widely and started web hosting from Mercantile and also started a smart learning system. While doing this, my teaching service age limit came to an end. And I retired from service with honor and farewell with heartfelt love from the school family and the community.

Love for school and birthplace
After retiring from teaching service, I have been living in Kathmandu. Even though I am within the heart of the school family and community. As well as I also love the school and community people.Because my birthplace where I was born and spent my 60+ years of age In a loving enjoying and peaceful environment.
I am also a motivational training instructor. So sometimes I enjoy going to my Bharatpuri Secondary School and its feeder schools at the invitation of the schools and providing training to parents and teachers.
