What is Trikonasana?

The word “Trikonasana” taken from the Sanskrit language, literally means 3-cornered dudra. Trikonasana means 3 corners, and ‘asana’ means posture. Therefore, Trikonasana is called Trikonasana. Trikonasana yoga pose practice should be done regularly and methodically, and only then can proper benefits be obtained. To do it properly, the following steps should be followed, so if you want to present it step by step from 1 to 10, study it carefully and practice it accordingly.
Start or first step – First of all, stand in Tadasana and balance your weight evenly between your legs and let your hands rest comfortably at your sides.
Second step. Keep your back and neck straight, and slowly move one leg back to the foot position by widening it.
Third step. Now slowly inhale and stretch both your arms on both sides so that they are parallel to the ground. Here, the shape of the asana will be like a hawk flying in the sky. Fourth step. Make sure that your shoulders and arms are at a level. And your neck feels comfortable.
Fifth step. Balancing your weight between your legs, keep your feet together and ensure a slight bend in your knees, and touch the sole of your right foot with your right toes as you exhale.
Sixth Step: As in step 5, keep your back foot parallel to the edge of the mat and point your front foot forward in the direction you are looking. Slowly exhale and touch the sole of your left foot with your left toes.
Seventh Step Now, bend at your waist and exhale, and place the toes of your forward hand on the outside of your forward foot.
Eight Step: Slowly rotate your torso and extend your back hand straight until it is parallel to your left hand. And touch the toes of your left hand to your right foot. After 30 seconds, slowly inhale and return to the upright position.
Ninth Step. Again, hold this position with the fingers of the left hand for 3 to 5 full breaths, as in step 8. First, come into Prasartita Padottanasana and release this asana, inhale deeply here, and release.
Tenth Step. Now, slowly rise into the Tadasana posture, take a few deep breaths, and repeat these steps on the other side. It is good to repeat both these types of Trikonasana 30-40 times.
