Spiritual Journey from Pashupatinath to Kerung
The holy morning of June 18, 2026, was filled with spiritual energy, devotion, and enthusiasm in the sacred Pashupati region of Sanskriti. In the divine presence of Lord Pashupatinath, the entire atmosphere was filled with Shiva with Rudrabhishek performed according to Vedic rituals at the Shankaracharya Math. The hum of Vedic mantras, the fragrance of incense and lamps, and devotion filled that moment, giving each participant the feeling of a new spiritual journey being discussed.

Rudrabhishek
In the final phase of the Rudrabhishek Society, the founder of world peace and spiritual science, Yogi Acharya Rajan Sharma, and 108 national leaders and international yoga gurus from various countries, including Nepal, started the Kailash-Mansarovar journey with one resolve. The main objective of this was not only to visit the pilgrimage site but also to spread the universal message of world peace, human unity, and yoga on the 12th International Yoga Day in the highest religious land of the world, Kailash Mansarovar, with a grand mind.
Natural beauties
As the journey progresses northwards from the capital, visitors see the picturesque hilly landscape, lush green hills, fast flowing rivers, waterfalls, and all the people see the enchanting views of the rural mountain ranges. The inspiring ideas of yoga, spirituality, nature, and human life made the journey excellent. Just son bhajan, female mantra chanting, Naban yoga, and the exchange of spiritual experiences made every moment of the journey unforgettable.
-After reaching the historic Rasuwagadhi border post on the China border, Nepali travelers were excited to enter the holy land of Kailash-Mansarovar and felt an exciting feeling as they moved forward. After completing the necessary immigration procedures, they entered the friendly country of China. The modern and natural coordination of tunnels, bridges, and the mountainous landscape made everyone feel good.
After crossing the border, the journey continued towards the beautiful city of Kerung (Gairong) in Tibet, China. The clean environment, cool weather, peaceful surroundings, and enchanting natural beauty of the artist Kerung in the lap of the Himalayas instantly removed the fatigue of the traveler. The first night’s rest at this place. Get the body used to the altitude, prepare mentally and physically for the very difficult Himalayan journey, and balance yourself in yoga practice and meditation.
Thus, the first day of the journey filled with faith, discipline, yoga, nature, and spiritual feelings was over. This journey, which began with the blessings of Pashupatinath, was not just a geographical distance campaign; it was the beginning of a great spiritual journey carrying the message of self-purification, consciousness, and world peace. The next day, the divine vision of Kailash Mansarovar and the historical celebration of Yoga Day made this journey glorious and unforgettable. My every belief was strengthened in the minds of the travelers.
Unique message of yoga in Gyirong, China

On the second day of the holy journey to Kailash-Mansarovar, our team reached the beautiful border town of Kerung, China. A team of participating yoga gurus led by the World Peace and Spiritual Science Society performed group yoga and meditation in the courtyard of a peaceful and beautiful Buddhist monastery there. The program, which was held amidst the mountainous environment, spiritual energy, and natural beauty, touched the hearts of everyone present.
As soon as the yoga practice began, many Chinese citizens present there also enthusiastically joined us. Despite the differences in language, yoga united everyone in one thread. Through breathing, meditation, and physical exercises, a common spirit of humanity, health, and world peace was reflected. All of us yoga gurus became extremely happy and emotional with the warm welcome, respect, and support of our Chinese friends. Their curiosity, enthusiasm for learning, and goodwill toward the Nepali team made us realize that yoga has truly established itself as a common culture that connects the world.
After about five to six hours of yoga, meditation, experience sharing, and intimate conversations with our Chinese friends, our team continued the journey. Holding this unforgettable moment in our hearts, we set off for Sanya, one of the famous cities in China.
That day in Kerung was not just a yoga demonstration program; it was also a historic opportunity to further strengthen friendship, mutual respect, and cultural ties between the citizens of the two countries. The message that yoga can rise above language, caste, religion, and borders and build a bridge of love, harmony, and cooperation between human beings was once again revealed to the world from the land of Kerung. This second day of the Kailash-Mansarovar Yatra became a priceless spiritual experience that will be remembered for a lifetime for our entire team.
Conclusion
On the first day after entering China, our entire journey was completed in a peaceful, spiritual, and friendly atmosphere. On this occasion, for the first time on Chinese soil, a mass yoga performance was performed, conveying the message of world peace, human unity, and spiritual awareness. The aim was to strengthen further the spirit of friendship, harmony, and mutual respect between nations through yoga. All the participating yoga gurus demonstrated yoga practices in a disciplined and inspiring manner, which made the program extremely successful, dignified, and memorable. This day marked the beginning of our journey, a historic and inspiring moment to connect with the universal message of world peace and yoga. ॐ
