There are various treatment methods for maintaining heart health and for treating and improving heart conditions. Among them, the sound of the Anahata Chakra can be used to benefit the heart straightforwardly. The heart can be improved well with mantra rhythm, sound, and prayer. The method of penetrating and expressing any sound in a suitable and well-planned manner by combining rhythm and melody is called mantra and Mahamantra.

Mantra and sound

Mantra and sound are very powerful. Gravity, hypnotic power, and bio-electric power are considered to be effective in this. The Anahata Chakra is the lord of the heart. This chakra has a close relationship with the lungs, thymus gland, heart, and nervous system, muscles, nerves, pulses, and vessels, as well as every cell. The lungs have a very close relationship with oxygen, the resistance of the immune system, and the blood system of the heart.

Mantra chanting

In addition, this chakra is also the element of air. The entire body is nourished by air or chanting mantras, and Mahamantras operates and manages the hydraulic system. The 12-part lotus has 12 Matrikas, namely, कं, खं, गं, ङं, चं, छं, जं, जं, झं, तं. And its structure is a hexagon. In the middle of which is the Yantra seed mantra. Along with this mantra, all the Matrikas, along with the letters, can be chanted with the heart, whenever and wherever.

This mantra can be chanted continuously in any situation, whether while standing, sitting, walking, sleeping, or working. Just as we pronounce this mantra with sound by making a long sound of the (Om) mantra and making it vibrate, jingle, and resonate, similarly, all mantras should be targeted at the heart and vibrated with sound. If there is any problem with the heart, the mind should be stabilized, and a special vibration should be continuously made with mantras through meditation.

If color can be added to it, then gold has even more fragrance. Its color is green with a blue circle. For our yoga practice, this is the color green with a blue circle. This can also be added with mantras and sound.  Any heart problem, whether it is stiffness or laxity in the heart valves, nerves, and vessels, is beneficial. Similarly, whether it is thick blood or irregularity or imbalance in the heart rhythm, this process is beneficial for everyone.

Another feature of the Anahat Chakra is that, along with immunity power, oxygen, and vital energy, the vital air called Vayana works to provide all the necessary elements to the entire body. Like chanting or reciting mantras, Shavasana keeps the body still, and still like a corpse. The purpose of this asana is to relax the body and bring it into a state of deep rest. Shavasana is usually performed at the end of all the asanas.

Shavasan

This asana is very effective in eliminating the fatigue caused by the exertion of the asanas. Shavasana can also be performed between other asanas if necessary. This asana can be done at any time according to need. Shavasana can be done at any time of the day after getting tired from any particularly strenuous work, and by doing Shavasana for some time, one can attain peace and refreshment. This yoga asana is beneficial for all parts of the body.

Method: Lie down on your back. Keep your legs spread about 1 to 1.5 feet apart and your hands about half a foot away from your body with your palms facing the sky. Keep your head in a comfortable position and close your eyes. Let your entire body relax, free from any tension. Relax your chest muscles and take a few deep breaths, and exhale. Now focus your entire awareness on both your feet and feel your feet relaxing deeply.

Gradually, the awareness will reduce the tension in your throat and throat. It will open up the blocked muscles and blood vessels. The highest state of yoga, meditation practice, and the attainment of samadhi requires the body and mind to be relaxed.

Benefits: It activates and nourishes the thyroid gland. It activates the heart muscles and sends pure blood to the heart. It removes problems like infertility and miscarriage. It relieves menstrual problems. It removes constipation and activates the digestive system. This asana helps a lot in removing fatigue and weakness. It strengthens the arms and shoulders. It nourishes the brain by supplying more blood. It helps in reducing obesity.

In Nepal and the world, the increasing number of heart diseases has been a global concern for the past few years. Heart disease is no longer a problem that only occurs with age. Because the risk of heart disease has increased not only in old age but also in young people. Even young people under the age of 40 are falling victim to heart diseases such as ‘heart blockage’.

Therefore, the disease can no longer be linked to aging, but rather we should identify the dimensions of getting healthy as soon as possible and focus on a healthy lifestyle that prevents the disease. Practicing yoga along with a healthy lifestyle makes the whole body healthy and happy. Experts believe that when both the body and mind are happy, chronic diseases are less likely to occur.

Due to stress and lack of physical activity, problems such as cholesterol, obesity, diabetes, and high blood pressure are now considered normal. Such chronic diseases are more likely to cause the problem of ‘heart blockage.

Yoga for Heart Blockage

‘Heart blockage’ is a condition in which the electrical signals that control the heartbeat are partially or completely blocked, affecting the rhythm of the heartbeat. In this case, the heart cannot pump blood to the body properly. And, there may be a risk of a heart attack. In such a situation, some pranayamas are considered effective in preventing heart-related problems and reducing the risk if they occur.

Conclusion

The heart is the most sensitive organ of the body. If there is a slight disturbance in it, a person can die. So we must carefully protect the heart. We must balance diet, exercise, and rest. By practicing some special yoga pranayama and meditation regularly, the heart can be kept healthy. So I would like to tell everyone that let’s do yoga, meditation, and eat a balanced diet daily.
